The Swiss Hotel, emblematic and historic hotel establishment with three stars category located in the center of Barcelona (Plaça de l'Àngel, 12), has completed the year 2016 the 150th anniversary of its foundation. This important event was celebrated within the framework of the Cambra Day, last October 20, in an event organized by the Cambra de Comerç of Barcelona and in which companies celebrating an emblematic anniversary are awarded.

This award was received by Mr. Miguel Gargallo Llaquet, General Manager of the Gargallo Group, as part of Cambra Day. The event was attended by the M. Hble. Sr. Carles Puigdemont, president of the Generalitat de Catalunya and Hble. Mr. Oriol Junqueres, Vice-President of the Government of the Generalitat and Minister of Economy and Finance of the Generalitat de Catalunya.

The Hotel Suizo, one of the oldest hotel establishments in Barcelona, is part of the Gargallo Group, a hotel group that has ten hotels in unique and historic buildings in Barcelona.
